    I don't think Kershner did anything wrong in this case. The former partner was just greedy. When the firm didn't get sold, he wanted money, and when the firm was sold, he wanted more money.

    Opening a prop trading branch

    I have a friend who wants to open a prop trading branch but I think the business is rather risky. How can the traders make money by day-trading? Only a small fraction of day-traders can make money and he as a branch owner, surely will be broke because of the commission charges? Is this correct?
