    any trader from the Philippines?

Thanks Jim & JMO, good luck on your trading. Man, I really thought that $7K was already the take-home pay, hehe. :D

    any trader from the Philippines?

Okay, I assumed as much, I just thought it might somehow be related to online stock trading, hehe. Ah, well, all those precautions apply everywhere you go, there are corrupt & greedy people in any country.

    any trader from the Philippines?

Ah, okay, so it's $7K gross profit and his net payout was 20% of that, I assumed that the $7K was already his net payout based on what Jim said earlier in the thread. What happened to the Pasig branch BTW, why did it close? Did it meet the same fate as the Taft, Manila branch? What...

    any trader from the Philippines?

What kind of "internet show" exactly are they running there?

    any trader from the Philippines?

My last nagging question about ST here is, how can you graduate by making $2K gross in a month if your BP to start with is just $10K, divided into 100 share lots? BTW, I've also read some interesting stuff about ST here in Asia in this thread...

    any trader from the Philippines?

Okay, thanks for clarifying that. So how many SJ traders are there now, and would they all be transferred to the Pasig branch? TIA.

    any trader from the Philippines?

$7K net payout means his gross profit for that month was $35K (assuming he's at 20% payout), impressive. In which month did he make this, do you still remember? Just curious, I thought the NYSE & NASDAQ was rising lately, why are most of the traders in the red, shouldn't it be the other way...

    any trader from the Philippines?

Dude, thanks for finally replying. I'll try to visit both branches w/ in the week. Just curious about what you said above, is that $7K in 1 month his gross profit or his net payout? It would be impressive if it's the latter.

    any trader from the Philippines?

In deference to the thread starter, let's not bother to reply & argue about corruption in this country or anywhere else in Asia on this thread. I should have known better than to engage a random foreigner about media-influenced perceptions trying to pass itself as a scientific finding.

    any trader from the Philippines?

Ok thanks. Who did you say will check it? Tell us more about the interview, PM me if you like. Do you really have to go through 3 rounds of that?

    any trader from the Philippines?

For how long? Several days like the armchair analysts? :p Try to say the same thing in an authoritarian/totalitarian country and let's see if you could leave it as easily. :D I didn't say there was no corruption in the country, in fact, it's rampant in government offices, but it's much more...

    any trader from the Philippines?

I knew some totally ignorant dude would bring that up sooner or later :p. Only if you believe the parachute journalists and armchair analysts who never even visited the country. Did you even read how awesomely scientific that survey was conducted? Guess not. Here's news for you: corruption is...

I just came across it today. I might try texting or calling them later.

    any trader from the Philippines?

Just want to add, I only got the email ad & mobile # for the San Juan branch, but I still couldn't track down where exactly they operate. I'm eager to check it out myself.

    any trader from the Philippines?

That would be an excellent idea, but you won't be the first. Swift Trade already has 3 branches and I have found several other firms already operating or starting to operate in a few months. There's even a couple of FX & futures traders. This guy is also keen on starting one, but in the...

    any trader from the Philippines?

Heh, maybe they're too busy making $$ to reply huh :p. I also PMed a guy who claims to work for one of the Swift Trade branches here (he posted in THE-BEAKER's thread IIRC) and he still hasn't replied. Chaosbaby: YGPM

Swift Trade Manila Branch, a few questions...

Thanks for the info. If it starts out at 35%, how much would it go up once you graduate? 35% of $2K is still a respectable sum while in training IMHO, considering the cost of living here.

Swift Trade Manila Branch, a few questions...

What do you mean exactly? Have you worked there?

Swift Trade Manila Branch, a few questions...

Okay, thanks. Good guy in the sense of being nice/ethical/etc. or good in the sense that he's proficient at trading/training people? What is the standard practice at Swift Trade branches, is there some sort of "subsistence wage" while still in training or is it entirely based on how much net...

    any trader from the Philippines?

I don't wanna go into the realm of "interpreting" anything from their ads, and I've also read some of their online ads as well. Since they have 3 branches already, it is also possible that they would have slightly different compensation policies. I'm not sure how much of that is dependent on the...
