no, you don't need to be a pro to subscribe to market data. you can subscribe to market data as lite the free option for snapshot and value stream is a value add from IB, but generally speaking if you want the market data from the exchange, then you should subscribe to it, for all brokers

nah it wasn't that, i only entered limit orders. i don't use market orders i called customer support and they said it was bc it was a lite account and not pro but tks for the tip. after 7 am i got filled at 18.51

no i said the fact that i couldn't sell in IB was bad, not the stock. but it was bc lite doesn't allow execution outside RTH, you need a pro account and you can do it.

nah, I had switched from pro to lite very recently bc i wanted to compare executions and see if i would benefit from free commissions but i wasn't aware that you can't trade outside RTH on the lite account. it's strange bc i was getting my order rejected yesterday after market hours but one...
