I agree, something doesn't seem right. In no way can u make a system better with the info you are providing. An experienced trader would know this and wouldn't waste our time, so my question is what are u really looking for?

Its more the matter of using the right tool for the right job. Ruby is faster than what it was in 2007 and u can make it faster. There is no dispute that c++ is the standard, but its really only a necessity when doing HFF. Ruby is not a toy language, u can create a lot more in Ruby than in c++...

Makes sense to me......maybe couple yrs down the line we get a Ruby compiler and make Ruby speed competitive to c++, then there is no competition. I have looked at Marketcera and its perfect for what i need........i have not jumped into metaprogramming yet in Ruby but have watched a 1hr online...

PLS....everyone take 2minutes out your day and send an e-mail in protest to this rule. As this ruling does not makes sense at all, you can get more leverage in the futures markets......also this rule will tie up a lot of your capital which could be earning interest somewhere else, or could serve...

Whats the minimum account size at hotspot and dukascpy? I don't thing i will trust a Swiss broker unless its a bank. I remember hotspot fx used to be 15k but it may have increased as this was yrs ago.

I see, i thought $1000 in margin, meaning allowed to control $100 000. Therefore, the correct amount would be 100 times 0.40c, being $40!

Its usually $30 on a $1000 margin trade if the spread is 3points.
