Matcha All I would like to say about trading ES is that it's notorious for pullbacks but they are clean and crisp. Here are some 5min chart examples.

27.50 was rejected pretty hard on high volume, plus Uvol/Dvol is still almost 3:1. Also 27.50 was the exact 62% from yest. low to today's high. Also minor support with mid-swing point on 2-15 double bottom.

We're heading into the holiday season look at the 2009 ES charts at this time, ranges were small (10000 vol chart). It will pick up in mid January this is normal and the last week of the year is horrible trading.

Trade what you see don't try to out think the markets. Longs were the call all day. Could never get a good pullback for my taste. Included chart.

3 trades -$125.00 ES, par , -62.50, -62.50 I patiently waited for a decent pullback all day knew it would come in the afternoon and it did, then micro managed the 2nd trade moved the stop and boom out. Forced the third also so decided to quit for the day.
