Here is the contrarian side of the argument (sorry to step on toes): many parts of trading are dying off faster than retail brokerage. Computers can perform arbitrage better than humans. Alpha and institutional advantage in trading are eroding as more players enter the arena and rules change...

The MIGP looks like it might head higher although I got a bad entry and the stock is fully valued relative to competition. There is some insider buying though so maybe the company has an edge in the commercial insurance biz. whatever.

Why would someone still be a stockbroker anymore if they were managing at least $30M? Research could be bought (probably better at that).

The crab thing is probably mostly an urban rumor. Also, a transmission could come from customer to dancer to customer. There was this great club in Newark, NJ that I went to that was all African- American dancers that were over 250 pounds. The place was packed. The lap dance was amazing!

It's like farming. The upside is bigger and there is less environmental impact. Without risk takers (traders, entrepreneurs, etc.) there would be no economy just subsistence hunter gathering and seasonal agriculture.
