betting against the herd works when the price make a big upside/downside move with momentum, consolidates for a while and then reaches another high/low with momentum after you have 100% believed that the high/low for the day has been put.. key is to be patient knowing that you only have a 10%...

The last I checked any price chart, prices still do move from point A to point B on different points on Y axis. So no markets are still tradable.

dealmaker, the idea behind this thread is to just evaluate the popularity/strength of the firm. I know other things like payout and commissions do matter which I am considering but I wanted to get a feel of the safe/less risky firms based on their financials.. Thanks

NUGT moves well and is not as volatile as DUST. NUGT doesn't seem to have a lot of correlation with GC. Especially today, GC opened down a lot compared to friday's close and NUGT opened at friday's close.

Nugt also moves in lockstep with USD

OP What is your plan is to grow your account. making $50 - $100 seems fine but are you going to put more capital and increase the size? Just curious as to where you are headed if you have proved consistent profitability.

It depends on the broker you use NT with. I use IB and the execution is quite instantaneous. Just disable the sounds in options. It seems to cause a bit of lag.

volume alone is useless IMO. Bots go haywire sometimes printing high volumes. Looking at price candle with volume bar has some good use. Say the price keeps falling and then you see a very narrow down price bar with high volume, it could mean all the selling was absorbed by buyers.
