Thanks for your answer... As far as 1000 stocks at Tradestation, the way I understand works there I have to pick 1000 stocks and then scan within them. I want to be able to scan whole market. I might be wrong, but this is what they told me.

I'm looking for real-time stock scanner. Tradestation will only let you work with 1000 stocks. However I'd like to be able to scan whole market. Anybody found good reliable one?

I just learned that I can use Trade-Ideas through Scottrade Elite. Do they have the same features when using through Scottrade? Also, do alerts update every sec in real time or every 5 min?
