First take time to decompress. Take a walk, sit outside, drink coffee, take a long bath, etc. depending on my mood at the time. Then I sit down and analyze everything to see what went wrong and try to learn from my mistakes.

A week seems like a very long time. Have you considered a broker with BTC withdrawals? Mine always get processed the same day so it's much faster.

Pros...it's something that everyone can access and there is a potential to make money. Cons...too many people open an account because of the accessibility and you could lose your initial investment or more.

Hard to say without more facts about the way you trade personally. For low costs, I'd point you towards a broker like CedarFX because they have no commission and decent spreads. Trade245 and Oanda are also good choices, so it may help to compare the 3 and see which you like best.

I think that depends. Some losses are inevitable and you shouldn't sit around obsessing over them. If you're taking a ton of losses, however, it would be necessary to investigate.

Don't just go with any broker. Forex Peace Army has a ton of reviews and will tell you more about terms & conditions offered by brokers so that you can find one that meets your needs since it isn't necessarily a one-size fits all situation.

I've also read that many professional traders use leverage around 1:100, which is also what I stick with.

I think everyone should start on demo to gain that experience and test their strategy. Once you're profitable on demo, that's when I'd consider moving on to a micro account. However, it isn't the best idea to just jump straight in with money involved when you can start on demo.

Most brokers will work perfectly well for demo trading. I would try to find one where accounts don't expire after 30 days, as that would be annoying if you were still trying to use the account.
