Does someone do it nowadays? Are companies willing by call to answer some typical questions, i.e. "I have seen you have increased investment into plants in the past 3 years, could you please let me know details of those investment and how you think it will affect revenue in the future"?
Is it normal that a majority of US debt comes with a very short maturity (under 3 years), look at the official current chart here: https://www.treasurydirect.gov/govt/reports/pd/feddebt/feddebt_ann2021.pdf (page 23, Maturity chart)?
I'd expect much more debt maturing farther in the future...

Hi,
I have used IDEALPRO to convert currencies and now the virtual position is displayed in Portfolio.
My question is, if I want to close an account, how that virtual position affects me? Do I have to "close" that position in the future to close the account?
Is it possible not to display...

Let assume my base currency is EUR and that I have deposited 200K on margin account.
If I understand correctly if order SELL EUR.USD 200k is executed, then the currency conversion will happen.
If additional I invoke another SELL EUR.USD 200k, then I would be short 200K and IB would count...
I find the SSL button on login screen in TWS confusing. By default, it is on the left side and SSL looks disabled! This looks like a serious security flaw. Or did I read this button position wrong? Checkbox would be much more clear solution.
Can someone advise, if it is to the left, is SSL...
I thought that buying with LIT prevents you of a sudden high volume orders, i.e. assume that the current price is 12$, you put BUY LIT order when touches 10$, limit 9.98$.
Assume someone dumped a high amount of shares with SELL MARKET. The price fell to 9.4$, and someone put SELL order on 9.5$...

Every day I see activity such as:
2208 2021-06-17 Loan Return Allocation SLB.61213300 6,445 -87,297.52
2208 2021-06-17 New Loan Allocation SLB.61242896 -6,421 85,354.35
Does it mean that the lender each day returns the loan and makes the new loan? What could be the reason he does it?
Does...

https://shortstockvolume.com
I think it was this one, but it doesn't look maintained well at all...
I've seen months ago a simple website that showed for each stock the % of float shorted, the number of shares, the current borrowing yield and the yield history.
I tried to find that website, but couldn't find it. Any idea which websites could it be?
Why telecommunication companies around the world, in general, have low PE, high dividend yield? (Verizon, Nippon, …). I understand that historically they underperformed S&P500, but is there another reason why they might be a value trap?
I was actually looking for another broker to complement Interactive Broker (I don't trust a single broker), I did go through other US brokers and while many actually support international clients, they are pretty much USD and US/Canada market centric.
