Thanks! Are margin interests and market data fee complex requirements? I thought they were common for stock traders. The interests looks similar to mortgage interests to deduct the rental income, which is actually straightforward in TurboTax.
Hi, IB traders.
I imported data from IB to TurboTax. But I don't see the margin interests and fees I paid e.g., market data subscription fee. How can we deduct IB margin interests and fees from TurboTax?
Thank you!

I see NQ previous close @ 11469.25,would 11469.25*0.95 the down limit? I tried to place an limit order slightly above this number a few minutes ago, but was told "The order price is outside of the allowable price limits" by IB TWS.
Do I miss anything?
LOL. If it's been decades long, I suspect that feature is legacy code, and thus none wants to touch it. And such task comes with very low priority to fix, unless the customer complaints are too loud to ignore.
Could it because they don't actively support the "Classic View"?
Thanks for the reminder.
So effectively each page would has its own customized settings stored in the corresponding template? Yeah I'll try this out.
One downside is that if we want to add a new column to every page, we'll have to add them into every template, instead of just "Default...
Wow, can't believe this is a common issue that has been so long.
Is it possible to hack the settings xml to fix the issue ourselves? The xml file looks fairly complicated. Curious if there's any tutorial on this.
Is there any document about this?
Background is TWS has weird column width issues. I wonder if this can be fixed by changing the TWS settings xml.
Thank you!
Has anyone had the same issue?
I have a few watchlist pages for different sectors. They share the same column set. All of them are using "Default Layout" templates.
But the layout is actually inconsistent in term of column width. Even worse, when I adjust Page A to be in a good shape, page B...
I referred a friend and he made 50k deposit last week. But instead of the 1% new account promo in IBKR stocks, only 1% of $1k received the promo, which is only $10.
Do we miss anything here? We got the email notification about the confirmation of 1% promo, up to $100k.

I've been use Yahoo Finance for a while. But I notice the data seems incomplete.
For example, for SPY, it only reports forward annual dividend yield, but no trailing annual dividend yield.
Any good place to recommend? Thanks!
Both are SP500 ETF and both are fairly close to the index. SPY has much larger size probably due to its early creation date.
From Yahoo Finance:
SPX 3426.96
SPY 342.57, forward dividend yield 1.85%
IVV 343.98, forward dividend yield 2.04%
It looks like SPY is tracking SPX more accurately? But...
SP500 has so many different ETFs and MFs to track, and the ER is very low.
But for NDX100, only QQQ and USNQX, and the ER is fairly high (0.2x%, 0.4x%).
Given that tech stocks are so hot now, why there's no more choice?
