What's the future of Crude (Brent)?

Yes, I think chart looks pretty weak still. Might see 35 brent before it goes higher. Don't think we'll be seeing 20's brent again though.

    Your thoughts on Bitcoin?

Got invested in bitcoin a few days ago, the CME contracts. Not sure if that's the best vehicle for it since I'm looking at it as a long term play, maybe sell if it spikes to 50K, or 100K. But now I have to constantly roll over the contract. Also, the initial margin wasn't that much different...

What's the future of Crude (Brent)?

Oil broke out a bit more today out of 200 MA. Bank of America is also bullish on oil, saying it'll be 60 in first half of 2021.: https://oilprice.com/Energy/Energy-General/Bank-Of-America-Brent-Will-Recover-To-60-In-H1-2021.html For me it's not so much where it is per se compared to previous...

Lumber is starting to look interesting

I'm glad I didn't short it. Changed my mind last minute. Yes. Thanks for that. It was helpful. Also the contract was very heavy, and saw a video from "The Uneducated Economist" Youtube channel that it was going to go higher.

Lumber is starting to look interesting

Yes, all time high it looks like. Seems to be covid related. When it drops I imagine it'll be hard and fast.

What stocks are still good to buy for an investment?

These things can get volatile, I'm afraid I'll get stopped out, end up selling low. So that's why I was looking for a long term trade. Have not had good results with stop losses. Maybe investment is a better term for what I'm trying to do with it. I'll definitely be watching it though, and...

What stocks are still good to buy for an investment?

BYND (Beyond Meat) is going to have earnings today. Cramer from Mad Money spoke about it positively recently again. Also saw this article today regarding their new commercial, contains the video of it...

What stocks are still good to buy for an investment?

Saw an interesting article today recommending buying big banks that have good dividends: https://www.marketwatch.com/story/you-should-invest-in-big-banks-now-for-their-rich-dividends-2020-07-21 You'd be buying low, and while holding you'll get some dividend. Not very familiar with banks and...

What stocks are still good to buy for an investment?

Those look interesting, but when they go up hard I'm afraid they might fall hard too, so in those cases I imagine there would need to be more active trade management and maybe stop losses. Looking for something I can just buy and hold for several months, a year, or maybe more, without a stop loss.

What stocks are still good to buy for an investment?

I'm looking for some stock ideas, long term, and was wondering what might be a good investment? I noticed some great names like Amazon and Tesla (very interested in the Cybertruck), but they made huge gains and am afraid to get in on them without a decent pullback. Other stocks that look...

What's the future of Crude (Brent)?

I just verified this is what I'm trading: BZ1U20 - Brent Crude Oil (NYMEX) SEP 2020. Maybe something has changed since you last traded it but as far as I can tell it has tight spreads. Right now 42.91 42.93, and I think maybe even tighter at times. But you're the pro so your judgement and...

What's the future of Crude (Brent)?

Nymex CME has brent futures, I believe that's the brent I'm trading right now.

What's the future of Crude (Brent)?

Oil is still low when you look at it historically, and we now have inflation as well. The question is if people will use it similar as before, or if something has changed so drastically that we'll never see anything similar in oil usage as before, which if I understand may be Citi's position...

What's the future of Crude (Brent)?

I understand what you mean now regarding the "weaker" rally of Brent. I don't know what else to say than what I already said. In the long term, which is the way I'm trading or investing in crude, without a stop loss, there is more room to go in my opinion. And if price drops significantly I...

What's the future of Crude (Brent)?

According to my math, and correct me if I did it wrong, brent had a stronger rally since the coronavirus crash lows then S&P. Brent went from the low of 16 to about 43 today (168% increase). From March it was 24 if you want to count from there (79% increase). S&P's lows in the crash was about...

What's the future of Crude (Brent)?

Below are the weekly charts for Brent and S&P. They are very similar price actions, but seems Brent chart is more bullish, more pressure to the upside, while S&P has that dip in the middle the past few weeks. But S&P made some more percent gain last couple of weeks compared to Brent.

What's the future of Crude (Brent)?

Why do you trade CL an not Brent? I'm looking at the Brent chart, which is similar. On this chart I see resistance at the gap between 45-46, which also happens to be the 200 day EMA. I might be interested in shorting it for a bit in that area, either as price hits it or wait for the daily...

What's the future of Crude (Brent)?

Looks like they may be actively trying to start a conflict with Iran: "Israel keeps blowing up military targets in Iran, hoping to force a confrontation before Trump could be voted out in November, sources say"...

What's your view on natural gas long term?

That's interesting. I don't have much experience in this so can't comment if it's normal. But it's concerning to me as someone who's interested to go long on nat gas. That statement from TD Ameritrade is specific to nat gas, with precise price numbers, so they put some thought into it and it...

    Palladium

Palladium is looking interesting. Looks like a breakout on the daily chart. Monthly chart also looks interesting, especially the line version: It was parabolic before the March crash, and now it seems to be picking up steam. Seems like a good long on the ETF PALL? Maybe put a tight stop...
