Here is one: Theta around 60. Advancing one day theta becomes 61 and P/L is around $2. That's wrong. Advancing one more day theta is 64 and P/L is 62. That is right.

It seems that issue got fixed, but now P/L calculations look wrong. For example a calendar with Theta around 200 shows a P/L increase of only 15-20 when I advance one day. I tried several expiry combinations and it persists. After advancing several days though, Theta and P/L seem to get in sync.

This is with Interactive Brokers.

That's bad. I wonder whether you could at least use the TOS paper account without funding it. Or maybe fund it and do one trade per quarter or so.

Your son's trade is already over 1.5k in profit. However Apr 16 option chain shows there's only one 2500 put contract out there (his) and assume there was none when he opened. Wasn't this a concern?

All I can tell is most of his flies seem to be 132 type for less than 2 weeks till expiration that he closes in 2-5 days. Don’t remember him ever mentioning repairs. How, when and why he chooses to place them is in the dark for me. I’m a visual guy and don’t speak Greek.

Good for you but I think you simply were lucky SPY did not go down. That combined with some vol increase would have ended less rosy. To me this doesn't look like a destry style fly. You were bullish while most of his flies are directionless and shorter. Also your apparently excellent ROI of 35%...
