Its not that it goes against you. Its the timing of the trade thats wrong. The broker doesn't look to stop you out price does the stop. Probably investigate your trades

I think that is still on a higher side. On a 10k account max loss should be like 200usd. That's my take. For a 2k account better trade mini lots 0.1-0.5 lots.

I think demo is just demo. Fund a small account and test drive it. Feel the real thing and all the emotional fights you have yo take when youbsee your account go to hell. Try different strategies then when you ready and have backtested results then go all in knowing the truth.
