Two weeks ago I was able to use 8 tick stops confidently but now I am using 200 easily just to withstand the volatility with a core position. Steve are you still using 40 tick stops? You have good entries if you can with this huge ranges.

I don't buy that for a New York minute. They are raising margins due to accounts being wiped out from volatility not volatility in itself. If people were trading more but not blowing up in hours they would hold rates.

Are you closing the account at 200K or are you just going to stop growing it at that level and run a set number of contracts at that level? Also out of curiosity do you perform the same on a simulator, worse or magnitudes better? I perform so much better on a sim which reveals psychological...

Wait until you get a 10k account before going full. I was doing well with the micros and jumped to a full way too early, and one bad day with a full equals a lot of good days with the micros ha ha.
