With more than 100k you can open a portfolio margin account with IB and get 6 times leverage if you adhere to certain risk controls. Works like a charm.

I am starting a managed account business and just wanted to discuss a few issues. If I use IB's friends and family account set up, can I charge a performance fee out of the client's accounts? Is that legal?

When comparing historical prices for the purpose of backtesting, I find that the time adjusted data provided by Yahoo Finance do not match the data from Tradestation. Seems like they use different methods to adjust for splits and dividend.
