I'm not sure you can transfer cash to another broker, as the destination account needs to be in your name and a broker account typically isn't. I need to transfer to my bank account first, and then to my broker from bank account.

I don't think this is possible. I use TWS for placing orders and will draw basic lines as a rough guide, but I use a 3rd party system for serious chart analysis.

I like Prorealtime and I'm thinking of converting my IB account to a PRT sponsored account. I trade mainly e-minis and the commission is lower when orders are placed on the PRT platform. Has anybody made the move? Are there any disadvantages to having PRT sponsorship over a standard IB account?

You've got this backwards. If the differences were so small that they needed to be measured to be identified, then it wouldn't really matter. But when one data provider is noticeably ahead of the others and the price is obviously moving many more time a second, then no measurement is required.
