Where can I find the put-call ratio on a stock?

Thank you for the link. I don't fully understand all of those stats, but that looks like a good place to start learning.

Where can I find the put-call ratio on a stock?

I don't see the put-call ratio on that chart.

Where can I find the put-call ratio on a stock?

Newbie question, I know. What's a good website or app to see the put-call ratio on any given stock?

Why isn't IB up here defending themselves?

Thanks. I'm going to download the demo first and check it out. If you don't mind me asking, why don't you just switch to Windows? I get that Linux users tend to be dedicated to their platform, but is it really worth limiting your options like that just because you don't prefer Microsoft?

Why isn't IB up here defending themselves?

Thank you for the clarification. Is TWS fairly easy to use even for a newbie trader? And how is IB as a broker? One reason I'm frustrated with Fidelity is because they never have any shares to borrow whenever there's an obvious good short opportunity.

Why isn't IB up here defending themselves?

Like what? How is it that IB is consistently rated one of the best platforms for day trading? I'm not arguing for or against it, I'm just curious. I've never used IB, but I was thinking of switching to it. I currently use Fidelity, and they're god-awful for day trading which is what I'm trying...

Why isn't IB up here defending themselves?

If I may ask, what started all this to begin with? What happened that some people felt IB needed to defend themselves?

Stock halted due to volatility with just a few hundered shares traded?

    Yeah, I think I learned a lesson today. :(

Stock halted due to volatility with just a few hundered shares traded?

I use Fidelity, so I seriously doubt it was front run. I also don't see how an order of 500 shares would spook anything.

Stock halted due to volatility with just a few hundered shares traded?

Are you saying it moved it up before it even went through? I'm not sure I quite understand. The stock had dropped before the pause and then came out of the pause back up again.

Stock halted due to volatility with just a few hundered shares traded?

What I don't understand is why trading was paused to begin with.

Stock halted due to volatility with just a few hundered shares traded?

No, it was just on hold until after the trading pause.

Stock halted due to volatility with just a few hundered shares traded?

The bid/spread is quite large - $.40 Oddly enough though, my order didn't move the stock at all. It's CNFR btw

Stock halted due to volatility with just a few hundered shares traded?

Weird thing today. I put in a market order to cover some shares of a short position, and after it didn't go through, I called my broker to find out what was going on. I was told there was a temporary halt issued by Nasdaq due to volatility. It's a very sparsely traded stock of late. When I...

Company intends to delist next year. What happens to my short position?

Decided not to take any chances. Covered it right before the bell. :sneaky:

Company intends to delist next year. What happens to my short position?

Uh..no. Like I said, I shorted it after-hours yesterday during the spike. It's currently trading around 4% down from that price.

Company intends to delist next year. What happens to my short position?

I'm guessing they probably wouldn't have an estimate ready yet. Afaik, they're currently in the process of doing the run-off. *Edit* Oh, you meant about whether or not it only applies to existing shareholders. I might do that.

Company intends to delist next year. What happens to my short position?

I wonder how significant those distributions will be. Also, does that only apply to shareholders who had the stock prior to the announcement? People don't seem too impressed by the news. It's been a gradual fade since shortly after opening today.

Company intends to delist next year. What happens to my short position?

Ah...ok. I didn't quite understand that part. Thank you. So it seems I should probably cover prior to August 30th?

Company intends to delist next year. What happens to my short position?

Well yeah.. like I said, I'm not familiar with this situation. That's why I'm asking about it. Right now I'm just watching it closely to see what happens today.
