    Bitcoin Price Thread

My selling price is close to $5000 now. What are my changes for it to happen in the next 2 months, which is when I'll need the money? Can anyone calculate?

The crypto world is going wild for 'stablecoins' — here's everything you need to know about them

It really isn't the best one yet, because it's run on Ethereum, which is a slow network, therefore it's very limited in TPS, and it's also not multi-collateralized yet.

Google lifts ban on crypto ads in US and Japan

So basically ICO's will still have a hard time putting ads out there. This ain't good news for the industry, because it's not like it would have been hard for them to filter out ICO's that are obvious scams.

Gaming cryptos - which will be the best?

A friend just showed me Gods Unchained. I feel kinda stupid I haven’t considered gaming such a huge use case for crypto until now. Do you guys think gaming will be the #1 driver of adoption (assuming it doesn’t break the network through the use of layer 2 / off chain solutions)?

Thoughts on Aligatocoin, a new Amazon competitor on the blockchain?

Will Alicoin be the first to implement drone delivery for their online auction platform? They have already trademarked their Pay via Eye system. Haven't seen this technology being used anywhere else. Definitely keeping an eye on this one.

    Thoughts on photochain DApp?

Will be interesting to see if photochain succeeds in being a secure P2P marketplace for trading photography. I do some photography in my free time, so this interests me. Anyone looked into it yet?

I'm betting on Waves to become one of the top smart contracts platforms. It only makes sense.

    1. It's the only decentralized exchange that has fiat gateways. 2. Their smart contracts are working right now on the testnet, and they'll have Turing-complete smart contracts on the mainnet by the end of the year. 3. Its consensus algorithm, LPoS, does more than 100tps right now, and this...

My thoughts on City of Eden project

Being a techie who loves science, this project really caught my attention as this team of engineers has literally formed its own utopia (hence the name) and is working together on solving real world problems using blockchain, med/bio tech, aerospace and other solutions that are open sourced and...

What are your thoughts on gold backed crypto?

With the current condition the market is in, I think most people run to safer investments like precious metals. Currently looking at Pecunio, a cryptocurrency backed by gold which seems pretty solid to me. Gives it greater stability and trust to invest in it. They were also recently invited to...

    Thoughts on RewardMob?

Is anyone participating in RewardMob token sale? It seems pretty interesting that they offer prizes to users for playing mobile games. Thinking of installing their SDK in my game too.

Thoughts on the Pitch Investors Live app?

I just launched my very own token sale using pitch investors in the iOS app store. It was surprisingly easy too. I'd love to get some tips from anyone else who has created their own tokens.

    Any thoughts on Waves?

Seems like Waves is gaining more attention recently. I’m a coder, so I naturally look at developer activity first and so far it is one of the top platforms in this aspect (https://github.com/wavesplatform, https://github.com/PyWaves) which is pretty impressive. Their 2018 roadmap is also looking...

    Opinions on TrueReply ICO?

I've been looking into a few ICOs lately, one of them is TrueReply. I think they have a pretty good idea – they let you take voice based surveys to earn crypto. It has to be through an Amazon Alexa powered device though. But since almost everyone owns one of these devices nowadays, I believe...

Anyone know of a good tool for portfolio tracking with other features integrated?

Currently using Blockfolio, but it has been buggy lately and is limited only to portfolio tracking. Found coinloop.io, they have a so called “one stop dashboard” with portfolio tracking, trade signals, and other stuff but what really puts me off from using it is they don’t have a mobile app. I...

    Anyone into the etherbots.io game?

I seriously think this game will surpass the cryptokitties craze as it involves building and battling robots and even lets you get a gold lambo if you get lucky when buying a crate. Also looks like it can bring some good profit with 20% increase in price after launch.. Has anyone looked into it yet?

    Has anyone heard about Pinkdate?

After reading the whitepaper, watching the demo, and discussing with the team I'm baffled at how little known Pinkdate is. They have everything you could want for a business idea. There's a huge demand, huge potential, and an elegantly simple solution. They take something most of us are...

Meet the man behind those ‘bitcoin genius’ ads all over the internet

With Facebook's new ban on crypto advertising, many of these self proclaimed "crypto geniuses" will slowly disappear.

Robinhood adds zero-fee cryptocurrency trading and tracking

This is great competition for Coinbase and will help the overall crypto market gain more credibility.

"Bitcoin Explodes Above $7000.. Then Crashes $600"... theory as to why

Funny thread on reddit: We should use the "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" chart to get excited for each new price break.

    Let's talk ICO's!

I’ve had the privilege to read a few whitepapers of upcoming and ongoing ICOs such as LAToken, Etherparty, Saske and a few others which I won’t waste my time mentioning. LAToken and Saske are the most promising but Saske stood out the most for me.
