    Bitcoin Price Thread

Times are rough. Not for anything... how did you manage to lose a 335% gain? FYI, HODL is not a viable trading strategy.

    How good are you?

Philosophically you're right. Technically you're wrong.

    How good are you?

It doesn't matter, but I'm curious, which there's nothing wrong with that. Yes, that would be interesting, but I wanted to see how many people on ET are realistic. It sort of is, you're competing against everyone else. Both statements are true.

    How good are you?

Honestly, you guys are so annoying. Just answer the question. It's a test! Right now the votes are 9-yes, 10-no. Technically it should be 4-yes, 15-no. Like who fucking cares about sharpe ratios and risk/reward... I do not give a shit, I just wanted to see how many of you truly believe you are...

    How good are you?

I never said that top 20% is an "elite club".

    How good are you?

"Do you BELIEVE you are in the top 20%" ... If everyone on ET posted their results, then it wouldn't be "beliefs", it would be facts. So you can stop trying to act smart now and just answer "no".

    Flag Pattern Stops

I'll ask my question in simpler words... According to you guys, what would you consider a "tight stop" on a flag pattern to be, in relation to a "regular stop"?

    Flag Pattern Stops

o_O ? You're implying that every single trader places their hard stops in the same places. Every trader is different and have different strategies. Yes I can. Let me be more specific. Typically, you put a stop when the pattern breaks/at the bottom of the pattern or whatever... but he...

    Flag Pattern Stops

Where do you set your stops losses and targets for your flag patterns? Recently listened to an interview that a trader claims he has tight stops. Was wondering what he meant by that, how tight can it be? Sometimes he'd get stopped out but would re-enter if things changed. Any opinions?

    1) Should start with 0.5% risk per trade (not joking). 2) I do not know. I know a lot of good books but do not know what's best for beginners. 3) Should paper trade until your consistently making profits. Might take 3 years. 4) I don't know why people say it doesn't work. 5) For day trading...

any trade a strategy around gappers?

I got in touch with 2 traders that have been interviewed on Chat With Traders. One of them spoke to me about looking for stocks that have gapped up in the previous day and had big moves and also in the morning, stocks that have gapped up during pre-market. He did mention that he's interested in...

any trade a strategy around gappers?

I started day trading 2 months ago (previous experience: long-term trading). Not successful at day trading at the moment, but minimal losses. Managed risk well on my losses. I took a break for 2 weeks for my vacation and also to reevaluate my strategy and go over all my executions. I realized...
