SizeTrade Eagle November Results: +26.25 ES points (some guys got 32.25 ES points).

EliteTraders! November started off slow as we waited for the election to pass. After the election, with the shock result we sat on our hands for a few days while the market resolved itself a bit. After that we slowly got back to normal trading and took advantage of the levels. For Eagle...

    SizeTrade Eagle October Results

Hi EliteTraders, Sorry for the late posting of October's results. October has been a tough month for a lot of traders, (and we have no problem admitting that we have had a bad month). We’ve had erratic breakouts/breakdowns mixed with false breakouts/breakdowns, crazy news + elections, the...

Is a hypothetical bubble priced in?

I don't think it's priced in. I think there were a lot of smart people saying housing market was in a bubble and that it would crash from 05-07 ( they didn't see the contagion). Also in 97-99 everyone knew tech was in a bubble including the fed ( irrational exuberance speech). There is an old...

We had some emails from Elitetrader members as well as some other traders from other sources requesting some more detailed results about our Eagle signal, and so we compiled a detailed September trading log (EST-stamped - adjusted from GMT +2) and results. Here's a quick synopsis: Eagle is a...

I'm not sure where you got the idea he's on holiday. As you probably know traders can work anywhere as long as there is a stable and reasonably fast internet connection. The information that we have shared is what we're comfortable disclosing, including the fact that our head trader lives in...

The FED, BOJ - What to Expect 9/20/2016

I think the point of the article was to point out that some novice traders were obsessed with the fed, when in our opinion the boj was the more important meeting of the two. Especially over next week or so. We also tried to point out that at this point even if boj would act inline with...

There are certain compliance and legal restrictions that we have to abide to protect ourselves. Even though we do trade signals live, it is possible we miss a trade (away from desk, not trading that day to illness, technology issues, etc. ). Of course we don't anticipate that happening, but we...

The FED, BOJ - What to Expect 9/20/2016

If the fed wasn't dying to raise rates then they wouldn't raise rates this year as we have 1% growth and core inflation is below 2% on their preferred matrix. The problem is the fed is now beholden to the stock market and everytime it seems they are going to raise, the market has a blip and they...

The FED, BOJ - What to Expect 9/20/2016

This is our take on the FED & BOJ tomorrow. I wrote it up quickly - there isn't a lot of time left, and it's not Shakespeare, but I hope it will add value! https://www.sizetrade.com/fed-boj-what-to-expect-9202016/

    How does this all end?

In 2007 we were one of the few who saw the excess and problems in the housing industry and how that would effect the overall economy. Most economists at that time were saying that we had a Goldilocks economy and not to worry. The problem that I see is we are no where near central banks...

    How does this all end?

Agreed times are very interesting, unfortunately I believe the fed and central banks have done misstep after misstep. We no longer are willing to take the medicine we just look for easy way out. Printing money goes All the way back to the Roman Empire and has ended awfully every time.

@ $50, and if we are genuinely as good as we say we are, we would have 500-1000 traders quickly. If we had 500-1000 traders and an avg trader trades 5-20 contracts we would add 2500 - 20k contracts on the bid/offer. This way we know we can sell out the signal at 50-100 traders and not offer it...

    How does this all end?

I think what we are trying to say is that we have had stagflation for last 7 years or so. The central banks have tried to fight it, with an array of tools. In our opinion they won't stop until we see inflation. The problem is that when we start seeing inflation pick up, then what ? Historically...

    How does this all end?

We believe that central banks and in some cases governments will end up going even more extreme to lift inflation as in our opinion they are all in. BOJ is already discussing helicopter money, so we believe they will do more extreme policies until they get their desired effect. The problem again...
