Most instruments behave differently, currency major are very similar but minors can be very different same for commodities and indices so i prefer to stick with one that i get to know well. As for woulda shoulda coulda well it happens sometimes, certainly still happens to me...isn't it the same...

I have taken plenty of trades that i let run into loss and have "rescued", sometimes over few days but not at perceived tops or bottoms...and the ones i eventually lost on were only because i ran out of patience.I don't know what the ES will do.
