I use tick charts but see no difference between tick and time charts

Turning $15K credit card debt into financial freedom

I make 2-4 trades a day. Today I made two trades. I only trade at major levels. Don't re-enter.

No, I can't do demo. I need money now. I need to repay the credit card loan and I need money to eat. If I have to fail, I need to fail quickly so that I will be forced to take some job.

yes, but what it does for my trading? I don't need to see every trade. I am just loooking at bar chart. Actually I dont' even look at bars. I could have as well used line charts

Also, very often the trading opportunities like these (price reaching major support/resistance levels) happen at odd hours, so it sucks

I have IB data feed. But many wise forum fellows contend that you need to have tick data and so I listened to them like a sheep and subscribed to IQFeed. But it does not affect my trading (I don't even understand what's the difference between tick and non-tick) so probably I will cancel my...

Yes, but this is not for scalping. For example, I liked trading USD.CAD - it's been very well-behaved recently on an hourly chart - moving in nice channels. So many times I made trades when the prices touched channel lines. But very often I could not realize substantial gains because in forex...

I did not know that. But ES makes a couple of 5-10 point moves every day. If only I could capture them.. Today I made 4 points in the morning. Not bad, but I was stopped out of 10 point move. Need to overcome fear but hard to do when you lost $11K.

I hate spending money on trading tools because I am not making any money with them. First, I subscribed to Investor/RT Mac version but their Mac version sucked and they never told anyone that their Mac version sucks! Leechers! So I lost $50 there. Then I subscribed to Multicharts and also bought...

With ES I have a problem with staying in the trade. Whenever my trade goes 1.5-2.0 points in my favor I am tempted to move my stops and then they get hit and I get out of the trade which would have made double or triple the money. I have no big wins or big losses, and my small losses outnumber...

Which does not mean it's not true. My story is 100% true and I can prove it.

Quick update. I quit forex a few weeks ago when my equity got down to $5K. Forex is for losers. It's very hard to make money trading forex intra-day because of so much noise. I started trading ES mini (1 contract). I like it much better - the movements are much more consistent and steady than...

This is not MECE: not mutually exclusive collectively exhaustive. My story can be true and I can troll at the same time. I have not blown my account yet but close to it.

Turning $15K credit card debt into financial freedom

Account is down to $8K, have not had a winning day for a long time. Yet, I remember a quote I have seen on this forum: "The number one trait of all successful traders is the refusal to quit in the face of adversity". It sounds very true. Stubbornness might not make you a great trader, but...

Turning $15K credit card debt into financial freedom

..continued In the evening of the same day I quickly deposited $8K to my account bringing my total deposits to $10K and the next day I won $2K. Needless to say I was elated. I made plans to become a millionaire by the end of the year. I believed that it was a manifestation of my destiny. I...

Thank you for your comment. But I will try full time trading now. As I said, I can afford to lose 15K. I have a pretty strong resume, so I am sure I will be able to find some job quickly if I fail at trading.
