I can't get anything newer then 2018-03-27. If I put in a start_date I only get the column headers. I remember having this issue with quandl a few years ago. At least with the free account or maybe I'm just doing something wrong. lol

Looking for a free sources for TSX historical data besides yahoo and EODdata. I need downloadable daily historical prices (ochl).

You been able to scrape the data? I tired, I can get the link that TradingView uses to populate the chart but it uses symbol ids in the request url and not the actually symbol. I tried to figure the symbol/id lookup hoping I could get the symbol id that way but I wasn't successful.

This seams to be the best option atleast for me. Just seams to be a problem getting the historical data quote to work.

I tried this one in the past and just tried it again. I trade mainly ipos and the same as when I tried a few years ago there list of stocks isn't very current.

Imo it's going to similar to when Facebook ipo. It was hyped up also and I believe it started around $45 and went as low as $15 months later then jumped to $100. So Lyft could go as low as $27 based on that math. Personally it's still early to make a decision for me anyway.

I use stricly techincals for buying. Personally if you want to know what the lowest price would be I would look at previous ipos that start around $80 and see how low they went before rocketing. Try see if there is a trend.

Depends how you trade. I try to find the lowest price point and get in. A couple of good examples are Netflix and Facebook.

I ended up using this link. It's the easiest to download and the most current.

I prefer the csv since it includes the IPO year. I only trade IPO stocks that are two years old or young. This is les work for maintaining a list.
