Another suggestion is to see if the scratched trade would have been a winner or not. winner=do not add in stats. loser= add in stats as a loss.

He's a swing trader who goes for a large profit. From what it looks like, 66 wasn't a big enough target for him so he decided to stay in because he expects a pop. idk his timeframe, idk if he has signals, idk his method, So I cant judge to say whether he's right or wrong about his own method...

I'm assuming since he traded longer timeframes than us(months according to og post), he knows something that we don't. In my eyes, it also looks inefficient..but time will tell.

If you're 3:1 with $5 in fees roundturn, trading 1 contract, you don't need 100k or even 10k.

I actually took this advice and started trading with 2 contracts. 1 contract has a 4 tick scalp and the other contract has an 8tick target. Once I take the first 4 ticks, my stop moves up to +1.

Yea, I agree but it's somewhat relative though. I've heard of people who whole positions for hours. On average, I hold my own for about 1 minute

If your margin is $500 and you have a stop of 8 ticks, with a target of 4ticks, basically you'd have to be 3-1 to make money. If you go 0-5(which is awful) you've basically blown your account. If you trade conservative and take low risk entries- you should be fine. Good luck
