    Iterative Refinement

You have to love the results (end of day) for the rest there should not be emotions. Tell yourself: "I am a trader and trading is simply what I do. When I see change, I simply have to act. Can't stop it" regards, Ivo

They key imo is to love it but not do it too much...(trigger happy). As few times as possible. regards, Ivo

Yeah you are right but I had deleted my annotations already and then I saw your posts and quickly did them again (without guassians) just to make my point. Sorry. Wow, what a day yesterday. regards, Ivo

Hi Innersky and Romanus, This is just how I saw it. The day starts in a lateral. Bar 2-6 (on my chart) all close inside the first bar. Then it is broken to the downside. Red becomes dominant so you simply wait for a pt3 down to complete the sequence and you both missed that very important...

    looking for that picture

Hi all, A year ago or so someone posted this very funny market chart with comments how the typical trader thinks. "It cannot go lower", "This must be the bottom", "ok, it does go lower so I better sell" and then the market goes up, etc. and he is wrong all the time. Does anyone have a link...

Decreasing black towards RTL is the least you need (after change). Increasing black is even better. IVo

    Iterative Refinement

Hi, First one is lateral FBO, stay short (or go short). Second one is increasing black volume. Change to long if you did not do so before. Ivo

Yeah well, whatever gives you the screentime. Also I like to add: >There are those however, who want to see even more Simply accepting you cannot know everything (vs. trying to explain) and that some trades are small losers (+ completely accepting this) is an important part of the key...

    Iterative Refinement

Peak volume or pace acceleration, who cares? This system has been over-engineered to death and now even has its own language: HVS, stall, dip, hitch, peak volume, pace acceleration, gaussians, lateral, blah blah. You really only need 1-2-3, BO and screentime and the rest is crap. If you...

Will US turn to be a socialist country ?

China has problems to solve but who hasn't? >It was designated to be the world's sweatshop decades ago. By who? Have you been there? IMO something is going on there. regards, Ivo

Will US turn to be a socialist country ?

Of course it is; if you don't take too much risks, if you keep your eyes opened to the rest of the world, if you are eager to learn, maintain a true open market, etc. All things the US doesn't do or have. Capitalism sucks but it is the best system. I don't live in the USA and neither in China...

Will US turn to be a socialist country ?

The US turned more socialistic in just a few days time than Stalin could ever hope for in his wildest dreams. The capitalistic system doesn't move in the direction they like for a while so they change the rules of the game. What a joke. In the end is has zero effect. Future properity will...

They just banned short selling in US

Yeah right. Who elected him? And even worse, he got re-elected after everyone already knew he was a screwup. I gave up on the US that same day for some decades to come. Ivo

One bad trade = 10 bad trades

Just do only one trade a day. Exit quickly unless price moves in your favor far enough and your system tells you to hold. regards, Ivo

    Iterative Refinement

Thanks David. I see it now. However I don't see the value of it. You can draw two different channels (two 1-2-3's) or one larger one (one 1-2-3). It's all broken by increasing black and we don't want that when being short do we? Ivo

    Iterative Refinement

Exactly how I see it. I feel this system is being over-engineered and every event has to be explained in some way. (always afterwards). WTF's simply do happen; it's the people who trade. You trade point 1's or point 3's or both. Did you take point 1 (the FTT) then you would have got out BE or...

    Iterative Refinement

Point 3 of above is something I don't see. I don't see that traverse leading to a lateral. I do see 14:25, 14:30, 14:35 closing inside the previous bar (making lower lows) and then the next bar is a FTT (JW, higher volume half the range) saying expect change which materializes on the next bar...
