Dude, seriously...this is NOT the broker but the exchange. The broker WANTS to fill your orders because that's how they make money. The problem is that if the exchange BREAKS the fill, the broker HAS to go along with it. Period. Not only that, but if it's the exchanges' fault, the broker...

They are great if you want to do all your option/future/stock/forex and bond trading through one platform. If you dont care about that, there are better software packages out there. I've seen them at Online Trading Expos, their niche is the multi-asset class system and they do it well.

I need truly raw data, and if they can give it to me in ascii format it'd be even better rather than these formatted ones (like IQ feed) that i have to try to pull into raw data form. Does anyone have a suggestion?

I don't trade, but I work for a prop firm. We have 2 guys banking a million this year, 25 making a good living. From what I see, either you have what it takes or you don't. If you spend more than a year grinding it out, trying to make it happen, do yourself a favor and quit. Seriously.

technically you may be able to buy them in Type II but they will have 100% maintenence and will generate no buying power.

For some reason prop firms have a tough time equating retail trading success to prop success. Just what i've heard.
