Wheat Limit UP again today mon feb 25--25k at bid...get in?

Would you really though? I mean assuming 32,000 Short, you'd be @ 1.6MM/Cent. One more limit move of 90 and you'd be down 144MM. 144mm/30BB = 4.8% of net worth on one more limit move. So, roughly $30 Wheat would wipe out your fortune.. Interesting numbers. What about when you...

iron condor on sp500 futures option help

The margins on these spreads in the futures are set by the clearing firm based on the SPAN calculator. I can put on 3 C / 3 P spreads as far OTM as I can get 1.20 + in each month for the next three months for only 2K - 3K maintenance margin collecting 5K+. Of course it is dynamic margin...

    Why Would You Trade ETF's?

Yes, I trade in all the futures markets. So, instead of DBA, I will trade Sugar, Beans, Corn, or Wheat, etc... ES example is just for equities.. TLT? I will trade the 10 year note, 30 yr bond, 2 yr, 5 yr, etc.. From my experience, futures are more of a graduation from trading these...

    Why Would You Trade ETF's?

Great responses so far. Would you guys not agree that 75% + of the direction of a sector or a particular issue is the direction of the overall equity market? My feelings are why complicate things. If the general market is down, short the ES. Why fight the trend and need to analyze...

Gotta agree the CT looks fantastic. From experience though, be cautious as it has a way of turning when all techs look fantastic. Little thin too. Bull spreads look good. Havent looked at the vol yet. How does it look? Raf
