and OF COURSE the SIM trade i take after shutting down passes my way-out there target #1 @ 8761.25 and may even make it to #2 @ 8962.

after getting chopped around earlier today and basically treading water on +/- of breakeven, i finally got the afternoon down move which as of this posting did reach the prior session high @ 8575 but after white-knuckling it for most the day i though 8600 was a good number and bailed for 73...

i always use limit and stop-limit orders for entry. occasionally my stop-limits will get jumped and not fill but most of the time they do. of course stop-loss is always market order.

next bump in road support wise is 8678.25 the low on 1/8/20

VIX officially tilted positive about 5-10 minutes ago.

went short @ 8938.25. the EMA(20) was a good one on the 5m for finding support today. if selling continues, SMA(200) on daily is around 8300

went short 1 contract @ 8971.75 and out @ 8947 for a small gain ~ 50 bucks

denied. no follow through and $140 loss.

2 contracts and will take one off (T1 9067.25) on way up and trail the other if things continue.

looking to go long if IB is broke @ 9015.75 today's dynamic targets are still 9405 area on daily chart.

got back in on a hook pattern @ 8914.50. would be nice if it can clear the central pivot and get up over some longer averages before i go to bed so i can get a wide trail going while i sleep. btw, the dynamic targets are now down to the 9405 area on daily chart.

yeah, but i'm use to it by now.

several scratch trades today and will wait.

moved stop to breakeven plus a few ticks again as price is struggling to stay above pivot. this could go on for awhile.... MA's on intraday charts looking like braided yarn. so i'm willing to get stopped out while the children work it out with the yarn. much better to take a few small losses...
