3+ yrs to become profitable. Never sustained large losses other than not producing an income (~200K in time/$$ losses). My trading has become more profitable the simpler I approached it. This is the main thing I learned in those 3 yrs. Plus risk managment is truly key.

I have read hundreds of books on trading (literally), and the three that I found to be most valuable are the Market Wizards books. In fact I have sold nearly all back on Amazon and have kept only these three plus Elliot Wave Theory by Neely

Apparently they give you one week free in their trading rooms to see what this guy Franz does. ~$100K a day supposedly. Seems like they are pretty confident on what this guy can do. I might go take a look sometime.
