I believe the max is $500k. There's some politicians who also got hosed so chances are there will be a bailout imho.

The only entity I can see possibly getting a bailout would be the SIPC. They only have about $1.5B to cover losses as far as I know

Could it be that the stocks are on the NYSE RegSho list? I've noticed that if they are on the list, IB won't allow you to short them. I had that issue w/ SPWR and LTM

I used whatever materials the firm gave me. I suggest studying hard about a month before the exam.
