Rithmic Announces Nonrenewal of Zen-Fire Use

Hopefully you will take this as constructive criticism and in no way I am implying to be taking sides here. But have you given thought to the fact that perhaps a company's perceived bad image also could be self-inflicting? I personally had emailed recently to correct a billing error and though...

Rithmic Announces Nonrenewal of Zen-Fire Use

BigTick was in development way longer before the Zenfire debacle. I was with Mirus and using BigTick back in September. I had bailed seeing the BigTick shortcomings way in advance of the storm. The switch from Zenfire to BigTick was public knowledge (see it here...

Rithmic Announces Nonrenewal of Zen-Fire Use

The new Zenfire was supposed to become the new BigTick? https://www.mirusfutures.com/emails/Mirus_News_October_2013.htm Latest News: Dorman is now working on offering data through CQG Continuum or Rithmic (confirmation pending).

Rithmic Announces Nonrenewal of Zen-Fire Use

I would imagine the mass exodus is on. I just got this from AMP today. May be I'm reading too much into it. Forward to a Friend: http://view.s4.exacttarget.com/ftaf.aspx?j=fe961074766d067f74&m=fe9c15707567057a72&ls=fdf410727367037d70167970&jb=ffcf14 43 Trading Platforms | 3 Data Feeds...

Rithmic Announces Nonrenewal of Zen-Fire Use

No. If you are a NinjaTrader lifetime license key owner there are no additional costs. I would also recommend Rithmic data feed as an alternative to CQG if and when it becomes available with NT.

Rithmic Announces Nonrenewal of Zen-Fire Use

    I'd recommend AMP/CQG for NT.

Rithmic Announces Nonrenewal of Zen-Fire Use

Rithmic is no longer an option for NT through AMP. Only CQG or TT is available to choose from in the client platform setup section.

Rithmic Announces Nonrenewal of Zen-Fire Use

I am curious now. Why did they elect to not call it by its true name - BigTick as the new engine that replaces Zenfire?

    Rolling Forward A Futures Position

Well I'm done! Any Eagles fans out there (though I am more of a Giants fan)? Look at how they destroyed the Bears last night. Geez! It's mimicking more like what the ES is doing to the bears on wall street. Bulls on parade!

    order flow trash

Ditto! Plus if I may add, I too will try to keep an open mind to the many tools or aids available to the day-to-day trader. I would think is safe to say, there's no one solution or magic bullet. If there was, no one would have an edge and there would be no winners or losers and trading would...

Oh? Wasn't aware of that. Guess I will need to revisit the web site. Now Just wondering if NinjaTrader is an option with IB. Many thanks

    Rolling Forward A Futures Position

I like the analogy. There is also the contract price. "Assume" the ES March contract is trading lower than I am long in the Dec contract. I can still choose to roll to the same contract price in March as I was in in Dec regardless of how much lower the futures are trading for. Sure there's a...

    order flow trash

I know of one company in particular (OFA) Order Flow Analytics. They provide a free plugin for NT. If anyone is interested here's a link where you can download it and there's a video on that same page which explains how to use it...

    Rolling Forward A Futures Position

I know. Who would of thunk? It gets only long and winded after a while. And only kid.fx.cross knows what I am referring to since TD and IB are quite similar in the way you have access to trade the futures. I feel exceptionally lucky to be with TD. Then again, if you care to take another look...

Is the larger time frame overrated?

I don't fight the trend up or down. I just follow until proven I'm on the wrong side and no longer works. So yes I will choose long until proven wrong. It's a 50/50 flip of a coin. Heads says up. Tails down. Heads prevails. For now.

Is the larger time frame overrated?

Ah! But we need morons to profit from. Only thing though is figuring out where the morons are the most totally wrong. 1820, 25, 30 . . . 1900 . . . Hey, I hear it everyday. One day there will be the mother of all pull backs. There will be hell to pay . . . on and on and on. But the ES keeps...
