are there any sites that keep live data of current rates, unemployment, GDP and import/exports? It'd be nice if all the data was in one place for all the majors. Any sites do this?

the Kathy Lien book. It is my first forex book and have served me well. I've been making pretty steady gains since reading it. That said I feel i am still somewhat weak on technical analysis and I'd like to expand my forex skillset. What would you guys recommend I read next?

It would be really nice to have the ability to backtest trading strategy. Also WebTrader only works with IE which i think is really lame. Part of the reason I like IB is their open platform. WebTrader seems to be a step away from that.

I never understood the reason for that.. My Ameritrade account..funds are there within a day or two. IB takes almost a week or me. Its one of the few things I really dislike about IB

yeah that works. Thanks.. IB makes it clear that they are not designed for new traders. I could see why they wouldn't change it...but it would be nice to have forex settings.

How do you get forex charts to work in TWS? every time i click on Realtime Charts it says that it can't get data for IDEALPRO

looks like we are going to be in for a really bad hurricane season this year... between that ..and Iran getting into war mode.. this could be a fun year. The market has ignored all fundemental factors ..people are just looking for a reason to buy.

It seems that IB doesn't offer any of the ethanol contracts listed on the CME. You can add a market data line in TWS for ET and AC but you can't get data. Anyone know if they will offer any of these contracts?

While we are on the subject can anyone suggest any good books on energy trading? I just got "Fundamentals of Trading Energy Futures and Options" and it sucks.. its basicly a intro to futures book which has a list of energy contracts in the back. :mad:
