so where is Peter Beck and the ex-swifters?

It has been years since I posted, I came back on the site to see how the day trading world is like today. I worked at Swift Trade from 2004-2007. I was doing OK during that period. Eventually, with NYSE changing their rules, I was struggling in 2007 as I was slow to adjust. I was...

Do you think NYSE/nasdaq proposed 2 hour extension is dumb or smart?

It would be cool... 2 extra hours of making $$$. I like the idea of a break in between like what they have in the asian markets. It would create two extra periods ie) 5 minutes before/after break of fun actions.

    Hi boys

It is clear that the stock is in a downtrend. Unless you know some mysterious reasons why this stock would rebound in the future, stocks tends to move in trends. Stocks are just like physics F = ma, once it has an inertia to go, it goes. I hope you did not go in big on that.

    SwiftTrade Campus

I observed some awesome traders with high school dipolmas as their highest education. Ironically, there were people with MBA, masters degree, CFA II, etc who tried and never make the cut. Scarfy is right about the %, I revised it to 2,3 out of 10. Willingness to learn is great. To "learn" in...

Social Influences of Being A Trader

I agree with the guy above that traders are creating good influences in the society. We make $$ and pour it back into our economy to help pay for conventional people who gets a salary. Some of the crazy traders I know pay more in taxes/year than what an average people will earn in their life...
