Is the advice of not catching a falling knife not the same as not buying in a rising markets. In forex perhaps, stocks though seem to always go higher on the longer timeframe.
I have also found that the money made with a trend trading strategy is usually lost during times when a range starts and vice versa. It would be cool to have an indicator that kind of indicates when the change occurs.
Monitoring only requires focus on getting in or identifying the opportunity, but once in, the stress levels rise and one needs to focus on how and where to get out, so it is not really the same thing!
I like to monitor all pairs at all times but only trade 1 to 2 at a time. Used to trade many more, but increased focus allows me to be more profitable now. Multitasking does not exist in the real world, it's better to call it time slicing.
