RallyMode, Well said!!! But It's not the service, it's the commissions. The more you pay the less chance you have of being successful. You are entering in a transaction with another trader, and you are both paying a commission. In this transaction the only one that has the edge is the broker...

It's not important where the data is; the truth is that, it's a reality. The only place, where everyone is winning, is here in ET. For instance, claiming that someone achieves 85% to 90% of win rate "daytrading" stocks or forex, for me and for what I'm used to see, seems quite absurd (100+...

    Premium Sellers vs. Option Buyers

So it's the same as naked puts. But you can Buy the Out of money strike to reduce Margin. If you buy 1 PUT 163 and Sell 2 PUT 160 and Buy 1 PUT 140 you reduce margin exposure. And if the stock falls to 158 at expiration, you get 100 shares at 157 average price, which leaves you still...

Everyone thinks that they are joining a team... The Fundamental vs Technical... Nonsense!!!! I've been working in the investment banking for almost 12 years, and if you're a CMT or CFA doesn't matter most, just get those stocks in the clients portfolio... Technicals ride the short-term and...

advice for starting out..., san francisco day trader

Great traders are many times big poker players. Nevertheless, i have to agree with some comments, you can't bluff in the market. If i had to pick a casino game and compare it with the market i would choose Black Jack. It's always you and the dealer... you don't know for certain how...
