I interviewed at Saxon some time ago... they are setting up a stock team but are only looking for experienced traders with proven P+L to head it up..

"Sweet deals" Can anyone explain why profitable futures traders in montreal get 70% - 80% splits, and stocks traders at best get only 50%... :confused:

Is it true that Saxon Financials is trying to get in to stock business and attract some of the swift guys? I have herd they are looking for a couple experienced traders and are willing to offer them excellent splits… dose anyone know anything about this and anything about Saxon?

The Question i was asking was... Why do canadians not trade Futures...? not why do UK traders not trade stoxx... the Prop splits in futures are much better... and a trader can get massive leverage..

I know this thread is about SwiftTrade, but is it true Saxon Financials in Montreal is moving from futures in to the stocks and offering traders more intraday buying power and better splits... A question...Has SwiftTrade had it to good for to long???

No one ...it's not needed.... On clients/customers just "professional" traders

trust me there is always a cost to trading .... All Saxon's traders are self employed and do not get a salary ... they may get a draw against future earnings very small ... last I read on ET in London it was £500

it can take a new trader anything up to a year to become profitable... so you have to support yourself for that time..

may be you are using the wrong e-mail address...??? I know London/Gib deals with all the CV's and then passes them on to Montreal... May be your CV was not strong enough and they did not pass it on... Alex, it sounds as if you dony know the full picture, and trust me a trainee of 1 month...

In reply to pctrader, by your posting you come accross as you stupid... The manager/owner of the Montreal branch worked in London for 4 yrs and is very professional in the way he acts and is excellent at bring on young traders and making them very successfully, from your informed comments...
