over the last 3 years i've repeated heard of others suffering from similar problems with different vendors.....these must be the greatest nightmares of trading problems.....most of the info came from the others in the live chats..... my problems have been small, once a contractor cut through...

i'm using both the linear regression channel and my hull moving average......but today i traded a faster 500 tick bar chart.... it worked great.... my biggest mistake today was depending on e-mails to notify me of new posts to this thread....i missed 2 pages of posts that you guys made to...

i'm using average price, instead of close price in my lma.. smooths it out

in the chart below the 21 period (white/Black) is shown as making 4 trades....entries are too late for my taste.... but it still gives you rough idea what tvman is writing about...

the resistance i'm talking about is a set-up you are already trading....it's the old dow theory type, where the index makes a lower high for the day.... support is the opposite after you think a low for the day has been made, wait for that low to be tested, then if a bounce starts to occur, set...

i don't trade this way and don't suggest anyone else follow this... but i did start to lengthen the tick bars on my charts trying to risk more to capture more profits......so far it's been helping..... the sma that's written about is not much different than trading 2 moving average crosses...

everytime i sell short at resistance, i think about you because i think you taught it to me....

hi nkhoi, thanks for remembering.... it was good to see your handle..... i still miss talkstox a little.... having a live chat and charts to support the trades was like we were all in the same room....

i lost a half point on that trade and broke one of my own rules by trading against the white and black hull moving average..... extra dumb..... trade4living, you are way ahead me as a trader, i can't use a 75 tick bar chart...don't know why....maybe just too fast for me.....i know of several...
