    Multi-price Flipping. Rotter?

So right! I couldn't stand those sudden gaps and flips on the Bund anymore. Rotter and Co have been screwing me too many times. Moreover, if you don't have euro MTS and e-speed feeds on the cash, it's like your trading blindy. I recently changed for FESX and I feel much better!

    Multi-price Flipping. Rotter?

I have been watching that all morning as it was particularly clear today, but I still fail to see the point of such trades... it traded cumulatively several K's at the same price, during a very quite market... I checked the other maturities and it doesn't seem to be related. Any idea?

http://www.trade2win.com/traderpedia/Trading_Arcade_Index Try this. They are not prop shops but arcades. Maybe it helps

which broker for 50,000 contracts per month on EUREX?

No minimum volume, it's the rule when you work for a prop shop. I pay 0.58 per RT on the Bund.

Looking for a better noney tree

Thanks a lot, that is what I thought. FESX looks more interesting to me as I need liquidity. It seems the Dax can have wild moves with a thin book.

I used to have riskmetrics but I guess it is really expensive. Bloomberg can calculate a VAR as well if you already have a terminal

Is the Bund one of the most difficult contracts to trade?

Right, fake orders make it really difficult to read the book, a lot have been said before about this flippers. The other thing is that Eurex interest rates products (especially Bund, bobl and Euribor) are used by institutional investors, Investment banks and Hedge funds for hedging and...

    Brazilian Real

There is a future on the IMM but no volume. The only way is to trade on the OTC market with a bank that has a local custodian. It must be NDF (non deliverable forward), minimum size $1M. I used to trade it with banks lile Citi or JP.

Prop trader vs. trader @ major IBs

The biggest part of these revenues are not coming from "pure speculative trading, but mostly on safer businesses IMO, these are the best contributor to the revenues : * Underwriting Bonds & Equities. For ex when Goldman leads the underwriting of a $1B issuance of an EM or HY bond, you can...

    Any one trade bund outright?

Definitely... The best way to increase the size is consistency... I stopped looking exclusively for those very big winning days (they are most welcome, thoug :) ) to focus on being steady and avoiding drawdowns. On most products, the bigger you clip, the more money you make, but the closest you...

    Any one trade bund outright?

I am the only one trading the bund in my office, and believe me, after a few month of struggling alone, I badly needed a reference. Some of the guys here have been kind enough to help me gauge my own results, and I can tell you it was extremely helpful... Tx again guys. I won't give my 2 cents...

Prop trader vs. trader @ major IBs

Well I have done the exact opposite... I left a trader position in a IB to join a prop firm to daytrade... I was a prop trader at a bank for 6 years, trading HY, EM bonds and currencies. I had decent limits (up to EUR 60 million, to simplify), and a limited but decent freedom in my trading...
