    Bloomberg website - can't access

I've not been able to access the Bloomberg website over the last 24 hours. All other websites are accessible as normal. Have tried with both Firefox and IE - no luck. Any ideas on what's going on?

    Seriously thinking turning Fulltime trader

I think it would be crazy to pack in your job and doing so would be more stressful than you could imagine. Please have a look at the following Brett Steenbarger pieces; http://traderfeed.blogspot.com/2007/09/when-trading-dream-dies.html...

    Pattern Day Trader question.

Perhaps you should try IB again and tell them that a rep said the opposite to another questioner (I was talking to Aimee in IB chat, FWIW). Get them to confirm situation once and for all. However, I'd be shocked if this was regarded as two trades - that would not make any sense at all.

    Pattern Day Trader question.

It's one trade - I just contacted IB, who confirmed this.

    IB futures commission discrepancy

Am on unbundled commissions for futures with IB. Bundled, IB charges $2.13 per YM contract. Unbundled, the website says that the first 300 contracts of YM in a month are priced at $2.12 and the next 700 at $1.92. However, I am being charged at $2.13 and $1.93 instead. I appreciate that...

    P&L in TWS is unrealistic!!

I agree with the OP. Excluding commissions makes no sense at all, especially if you're trading a decent number of contracts/shares per day.

    NQ and ES... question???

Just type NYSE:$AD-NYSE into the symbol box in QT. BTW, there is a useful QT forum at www.qtusers.com

    NQ and ES... question???

The only free futures datafeed that I'm aware of is from OpenTick, although it is not compatible with QuoteTracker. It is compatible with Sierra Charts, which seems to be the cheapest platform after QT (prices start from $8 a month). I'm curious as to why you want to access futures charts...

    NQ and ES... question???

Yes, you can access them through QT but you will have to pay for a real-time data feed from the likes of esignal or iqfeed (I think iqfeed have special rates for QT customers). On another note, I saw on another thread that you are in process of going full-time with trading. If that is the...

    NQ and ES... question???

AFAIK, Ameritrade does not provide for futures trading, therefore no futures charts. In relation to a good broker, IB is the obvious choice for active retail traders. They provide live ES, NQ charts, etc, although everyone agrees they (the charts) are awful. Solution is to use IB data with...

    Wtf Is Wrong With Ib??!!

Does anyone else find all this whining about IB a bit absurd? You get rock bottom commissions, lightning executions and global markets. Sure, the charts are awful but everyone knows that. Use QuoteTracker for charts - they're great and, contrary to what the OP suggested, support isn't bad...

Cybertrader minimum 10k for daytrading ?

Leyazbeck IB offers top % gainers and a multitude of other parameters through their market scanner. IB is geared to very active traders and their TWS platform is a comprehensive one. IB charts are awful, however, so try using it in conjunction with QuoteTracker, an excellent charting...

Cybertrader minimum 10k for daytrading ?

Certain on both counts. Why not use IB rather than Cybertrader? IB will allow you to have a margin a/c (therefore allowing shorting) with as little as $5000 and the per share commissions will work out much cheaper (unless you're trading very 'cheap' stocks) than Cyber's $9.95 per trade...
