    What Moves a Market?

Thing is i'm not talking about this from the perspective of an intraday trader I'm taking about this from the perspective of relative value of assets over a week to month time frame

    What Moves a Market?

The majority of people in the markets are looking for a magic bullet/indicator to tell them when to buy or sell but thats nothing more than a waste of time. I want to start a thread pertaining to what moves a market (Stocks/bonds/FX/Commodities/Rates) The simple answer is Supply Vs Demand...

Hi Bsam, I mainly trade the NQ I use the 1 min and 5 min for entry I think i understand S/R... An instrument like the NQ has S/R levels from previous days and overnight sessions - Futhermore S/R is a little bit subjective. But i am all ears to learning

How do you determine your entries?

My entry really blows. Its probably the worst part of my trading and as much as my trade is right... The entry will ruin the management end and force me to close trades way to early for a lose only to look at it later and turn into a gain (if i had held on longer) My question is how do you...

The Geniousness of Paul Tudor Jones

This is exactly what i was referring to. PTJ in a lot of ways reminds me of Victor Niederhoffers trading method only in the 80s (i.e that video and trade )- i'm sure his decision making process is a lot more loose than whatever voodoo VN uses

The Geniousness of Paul Tudor Jones

PTJ defiantly had a leg up compared to others when he entered the biz but that dosn;t mean much since trading is sheer talent of an individual. He is hands down one of the best traders to walk this planet period. The reason i started this thread was mainly to talk about his style of trading in...

The Geniousness of Paul Tudor Jones

Curious how he was given a generous headstart... I always have wondered if he came from money before he even started trading

The Geniousness of Paul Tudor Jones

For anyone who has seen his documentary the man is clearly a king for his time. Markets have changed a lot since the 80's but for anyone whose more or less seen his thought process for his short term trades - can you still trade like that? The intent of this thread essentially is to discuss...
