listen guys, been on TT for years ... if the mkt was at 48/48.5 in a fast mkt like the dax and you just hit anywhere on the red side to sell, you sold the mkt (duh!) but with Refco pro. if the order book is showing 16 offered at 64.5, 22 offered at 65, and 30 offered at 65.5 and you click 65.5...

Avoid at all costs. This morning, I was long 10 dax , and it started to fall aggressively, so I just hit the red strip to get out. Mkt was at 48/48.5 and I hit the 46.5 box to get out thinking it would just get me out at mkt, it got me out AT 46.5 even though the mkt wasn't trading there!!!

yeah, I've got a long bund/short 10yr spread on right now .... that's my tip of the month guys, feel free to piggy back that one, been in it for a month or so now

Yeah loads of people trade them, don't worry, you won't be alone :p I would say better outright, but then they are easier to spread than say S+P/dax ....

Looks like the spreaders are in right now, shorting dax buying stoxx ... I think that's a sure sign that this mkt is coming off this afternoon - unless they're wrong of course... anyone noticed that? :mad:

mkt is ridiculously strong, the way it shrgged off 7/7 confirmed that. I mean I know in the grand scheme of things that attack wasn't that big a deal but contract highs the day after was as much confirmation as I needed that this mkt is well bullish

If GM split off GMAC as a seperate entity, or sell to Bank of America for 21bn .. as mentioned in some weekend papers - would that be a massive buy for GM stock and a boost for stocks in general?

Does anyone here use Refco Pro? If so, what is it like to trade? I've heard mixed reports so far, but mainly positive
