I can't answer the poll because I have never blown up but I am not making good money now. Last year I made a tiny profit (6% for the year) trading futures only and the 4 years before that I lost money trading various things.

ransquawk just reported there are rumors going around about an emergency rate cut today, which might be the cause of the spike in the markets. Also a rumor about Goldman buying Lehman for $11.50 a share.

I'm holding a measly 1 ES contract long over the weekend that I bought 10 minutes after the closing bell. Huge panic at the close today; once we get past the weekend and people's emotions settle down I suspect the markets will open in the green on Monday.
