Day Trading is a destructive addiction

I have a robot trading machine that assures me at least $4329.33 daily, beats my wife, kicks my dog and disciplines my son and occasionally smokes my pole. What is this fcking clownburg?

    Nflx

25-30% short interest could propel this monster to a porsche scenario. The machines will dig your grave if you think about fading this POMO stock!

Margin Calls: How many trading accounts got wiped out?

It was a totally off the cuff humorous comment and honestly was directed at nobody. Humor is essential in these times. I'm still trying to wrap my head around what I saw Thursday...Watching the E-Mini's completely fall out of bed with literally no bid from 1130's to 1060-ish. That panic...

Oh Oh, Might have to take a tax hit, got a HUGE profit thoughts?

http://www.greencompany.com/ These guys are pro's and likely what you are looking for. As soon as I started worrying/looking into my potential tax liability last year from my phenomenal trading profits (for me personally) it was early October and I was looking at around $150K in profit...

Is anyone here subscribed to Dan Zanger's site?

By the way a tried a dozen or so times to logon to the chatroom with my password to no avail. Didn't really desire to waste my time calling them because the chatroom was of no real interest to me. Whatever!:D

Is anyone here subscribed to Dan Zanger's site?

I can tell you this. I really liked his story and his style & expertise so I tried out the newsletter for a couple months at $79/mo. Most of my trading is intraday but I learned a bit from reading the newsletter for the last 2 months but never actually made any of his plays because I am...

To make a living you need at least 300k in your account?

This is awesome. What a fabulous success story. Thanks for sharing this lescor. One quick question for you: Do you think trading successfully is a factor of emotional intelligence as much as it is technical intelligence? Thanks and continued success to you and yours. :)

Nassim Taleb's `Black Swan' Investors Post 50% Gains as Markets Take Dive

I see no anger in that video. He's got some wild idea's and theories. I like him. He stretches the mind. Some great stories about hero's to zero's in Fooled By Randomness. As a trader if you don't change and adapt (sometimes several times a day) you are toast.

    Hollyfield broke

I know people who make $50K annually who have money in the bank and retirement savings. Holyfield is train wreck. No sympathy here. Don't even get me started about Ed Mcmahon.

    My friend's trading problem

Spot on. My weakness lies in taking on too much risk (not ridiculously so) which has translated into some pretty substantial % results for the past few years. Granted, I understand the downside however, taking $50K to $500K or more just cannot be done being trigger shy.

Trader Tim from SlopeofHope states to short BIDU

Look closer: He is buying PUTS which equals limited risk. Shorting BIDU into earnings is similar to playing russian roulette. Those that shorted GOOG experienced a bit of that today. Those that held short AH hoping it would pull back were severely disappointed. I attempted to...

San Diego Real Estate recovery in 2024

I have a client/friend who purchased a 5 acre piece of dirt at the top of Carmel Valley in the mid 1960's for $40K-ish. he sold out in 1998 with a consortium of adjacent landowners for $1.8M (his share). At that time he exchanged most of the proceeds for a personal residence and...

    P&L since beginnning trading

That would be wildly impressive if those numbers were your yearly balance totals and not your yearly profit totals. Those numbers as yearly profit totals are astounding. I suppose we can all be skeptical of such large numbers coming from a 25K cash advance from a Discover card, but if true...
