Hi my original goal is to see what is out there in Hong Kong. I live in the US but I am looking to move there because of the "capital gains free" status there.

Any prop traders in Hong KOng? Anyone interested in sharing their experiences like dealing w/ time difference, how their firm is, etc.?

i would recommend yahoo trading forums. It seem the others have given you links to everything BUT daytrading forums.

I don't think anyone should throw in the towel. If you think you need to, and are willing to give up, then trading isn't for you. It is my FIRM belief that anyone can make it in trading, what they need to do is find a trading style that fits their personality to become sucessful.

How many of you that trade retail do over 1 million shares a month? I've been looking around and it seems most retail guys do under 300K a month. If any of you do over 500K, I would be interested in talking to you to form a group?

it is not quotes that are lagging. it is very simple. Often times the specialist is holding a huge market sell order for example and people are willing to get out 5-10 cents lower then the bid because they KNOW the specialist is about to pull his bid down a lot more. Yes you can consider...
