Robert, Dodd Frank really does go to far. :) I opened a US account with Interactive Brokers. I will likely trade currency futures instead of forex. The nice thing with interactive brokers is that I can trade forex and futures from one account.

Are there reputable proprietary groups that allow forex trading? 50:1 is okay but not great for spread strategies. My apologies for the short question-this is all I have for now. Thanks for allowing me to post a noob question.
