But it is again about backtesting functionality, it is impossible to test a strategy by only few setups, you need statistical result for 50-100 deals, so the thing that can help you here is a backtester tool, not a stock screener with an ability to screen stocks retroactively.

Why don't you just screen for your signal and WAIT for some days? But probably what you need is Backtest tool?

I think "trading rules" (the market) will be changing more frequently with the time. It will not became more random. We will see that classical TA will be absolutely worthless and some other rules will arise. I beleive in ATS, this is the only what one can earn money with.
