Anyone trading with these guys...A guy from globus gave me a call and told me they had a "shop" with 50 traders in Toronto...

Risk is lower in selling options naked ( put vs long cash" for you guys lets use the word" stocks") or ( calls vs short stock): hence that is why the reward is smaller then going outright long or short stock.

There is no calculation on return on investment ... leverage and regulation is not the same for a trader(prop pro or arcade) then a retail or mutual fund... But i must say i am really "impressed" by the regularity of some traders ( not the $$ in 1 day but by the regular green side ... specially...

I did 10 years ago , at the time it was really easy . Just concentrate on the "KNOW YOUR CLIENT" stuff.

Sure... but if your plan is too become a good trader you need a basic knowledge of the markets and you will not get it doing the monkey hitting keystrokes in a chop shop...

Nothing when you leave or get fired or ... your boss escorts you out the door ( they actually watch you pack your stuff to be sure you don't leave with any client info). You don't have a client book but if you have all your licenses ( stocks , options, derivatives) and competent you will...

Not always the case ... Plus for a young person wanting to learn about the markets and get sponsor for licensing it can be a good experience ( better then learning from a grind shop that teaches how to hit the hot keys and the bid -ask )

In Canada its more like 45-50 k + all the perks (bonus insurance etc). I did it for a few years and no its not like wall street and not too much glamour but not always relaxing ( specially when the "system crashes" and you got hundred of clients calling at the same time). Anywhays less stress...
