    AAPL has bottomed

I followed this guy for some time, even read his biography. He's not a flipper of stocks. But he's the pain in the butt for management. 99% of stocks popped when he revealed his stake in them. He's as cutthroat as a capitalist as they come. A frequent Form 4 filer at the SEC, they'll probably...

    AAPL has bottomed

Almost 5% gain today for AAPL. The train is leaving the station. Icahn is the catalyst + the ITC ban, he bought a $1 billion position last month. Break out is now confirmed. Ez money tomorrow :) .

    TSLA the next leg up

I said "public" with the idea of pensions and funds in mind. Mom and pop is very small and most will be cannon fodder when the market turn south. I know friends who bought it in the 50's and now is sitting in 2.5x paper gains. Yes, they're playing we all know what happens when they're in the game.

What's gonna pop this bubble ?

Stocks are, expensive? Yes. Bubbles close but not quite. From 1980 to 2000 the Dow goes from 1k to 11k. From 2000 to 2013 the Dow goes from 11k to 15.6k. Inflation from 2000 to 2013 is around 35% from CPI (probably north of 60% unofficially). Granted that some stocks from 2000 might not exist...

    TSLA the next leg up

Made a couple of trades today long with some gains. This is another public's favorite similar to Netflix. If the sellers fail in the 150 area than 200 is next. Might get there by fall. On the other hand, if the public wake up than it will fall to earth and will present a second opportunity to go...

What's gonna pop this bubble ?

Technically, the value of the indices with accounted for inflation could be an interesting point which is a little bit higher than we currently are. Tapering could shock the system, but might not be enough to derail this monstrous run. Who knows how this bubble will end? It could end when the...

    AMZN Breakout

I believe it broke the old all time high of $284.72 from Jan. Next stop $300 and beyond. A run of 10% from the current level is possible. Q2 earnings guidance is rather low so they will likely beat. Good for swing and short term position play.

MCP, value play or value trap

Earnings are in for today. The earnings miss has been priced in previously so MCP is currently up 6% AH. With 60% of float short, it's poised for a big short squeeze. It's a steal at under $10. I've been trading on and off in this. My current average buy in price it's in the 9's. 20-30% gain is...

    AAPL: Buying the Dips!

I believe that either PPT or the funds are holding it up so they can slowly reduce their exposure in the next few weeks [without the price shock of course]. The fact and the matter is, they are no longer [less] invincible and will drop with the rest of the market.

    AAPL: Buying the Dips!

What is the reason for the trading halt? Many stocks dropped a lot after earnings with zero halt? Some one was saying PPT is holding it up. It make sense because they need some time to set up shop knowing how important AAPL is to the market. Similar price action is happening with AMZN, another...

    AAPL: Buying the Dips!

AH trading halted. Not good. Miss both earnings and lower future guidance. EPS 8.67 vs 8.97 estimate. Dip it is.

    NFLX Crash

I used to short this in July/August. Made a couple k of it, and cover to go on vacation. I'm currently holding position in MCP but contemplating to go back into NFLX.

    NFLX Crash

Short squeeze in play? I believe that when shorting beaten down stocks, time is an very important factor. If it can not go down lower within a set amount of time even though all the possible negative news is out than in can pop on something as minute as some lame customer survey net satisfaction...

    Charts of Note

I'm speaking from a point of investing not trading. Anybody could make money as long as everything does not goes to zero. I'm not denying that. I'm just saying that there factors that could put a cap on growth.

    Charts of Note

It's a game of confident, I'm sure. It's the faith of believing that the system will not fail and austerity/easing will finally do the trick. That's what kept the market going even though without much support from economic data. But it's a double edge sword, the higher hope you have means the...

Will GM get a second bailout or is this it?

They've been sitting on their butt for a couple of decades, don't expect them to turn on a dime. I think the bad vibe just need more time to get flushed out IMO. But in this market, is very difficult to play catch up.

MCP, value play or value trap

This will probably be a dog for some time to come. Based on my estimation, it could be anywhere between $15-30 next year due to the production increase projection, but not before dropping to below $10 in the near term. I still see great value at around $8-9, if it get there (I'm sure it will)...

There Is Absolutely NO VALUE To High Frequency Trading

His bet on FB pretty much prove that point. I don't think it got anything to do with a publicity stunt or him throwing money away [intentionally].
