Collective2 hiked their fees - anywhere else to go?

Agreed. We are all just simpletons in Pekelo's world.

Collective2 hiked their fees - anywhere else to go?

That's professional. What a nice C2 Rep. "all "reset" track records are archived and continue to be publicly visible." - C2 Founder. The resetting is not really any good IMO. If I'm a subscriber I saw someone's program blow up before, I'm not trusting their "new" program.

Collective2 hiked their fees - anywhere else to go?

Gotcha, thanks for the comments. Indeed it is a scalping system. And based on my system those drawdowns will happen. Most trades profit anywhere from $20 to $90. Win rate should be very very high, which my hope is should offset large drawdowns such as what you listed above. I'm surprised this...

Collective2 hiked their fees - anywhere else to go?

Yeah, 30% right now, which is like, ok whatever, I'll hike my fees if I want more. To run your own strategy you don't pay autotrade fees, thats for subscribers, and they don't get commissions on trades. To run a strategy it used to be $120 flat for 6 months (was only $89 a couple years ago)...

Collective2 hiked their fees - anywhere else to go?

Here is the forum post about new fees: https://forums.collective2.com/t/new-pricing-choices-for-trade-leaders/9071 Problem with real-money account is compliance. I work in the field and any personal trade has to be cleared by compliance before it is done. Since I'm not going to email compliance...

Collective2 hiked their fees - anywhere else to go?

Hi all, Haven't been here in a while. I designed a solid forex/futures strategy that I am currently running on Collective2: https://collective2.com/details/106272060 However I am very dismayed at their recent restructuring of fees. Basically charging you twice as much to list your strategy...

Minute bars - when do they end?

no HFT, but higher frequency - 20-30 trades a day. Interesting Darth Sidious. Really does depend on what your platform/vendor decides.

Minute bars - when do they end?

Looking at S&P e-minis. Do the minute bars close at the 59 second mark of the minute or at the 00 mark of the new minute? Bloomberg seems to think the 00 mark. Data I have from CME says 59 second mark. Confirmed this from bloomberg tick data. Anyone know?

S&P e-mini second by second data?

Cost $140 for over a decade. I still haven't downloaded it all. Freggin huge. This on the same day I realize my backtesting formula has an error in it and my scalping strategy goes from solid to garbage. Oh well.

S&P e-mini second by second data?

I actually went with ANFutures and got the tick data. Going to pull it together by second myself. Files are freggin enormous though. Have to get some programs to suck the data I need out of them before I can even work with them. 500k ticks for 1 day. I now have years of this. Good lord.

S&P e-mini second by second data?

Tick data is simply too big for my systems to handle, and is not needed for the strategy I have in mind, however minute data is simply too broad, especially when volatility hits. Anyone know of any place that has second by second data of e-mini futures? That should be small enough size for my...

    S&P e-mini intraday historical data

I went with ANFutures. Happy with the results.

    S&P e-mini intraday historical data

A little off topic I believe. Does anyone know of any cheap places to get the minute data for the overnight sessions? I saw ANFutures and that seems to be reasonable. $96. I don't have subscriptions anywhere. But even a cheap one month subscription where I could download that data would work.

    S&P e-mini intraday historical data

I'm sorry, what do you mean when you say "SP cash" - just the S&P 500 index level? I am specifically looking at trading in after-hours. 1600-0930. That is when I am interested in the data.

    S&P e-mini intraday historical data

Yeah obviously I was looking for the front month, rolled when applicable, to have continuous futures pricing on this going back years.

    S&P e-mini intraday historical data

Guys, Looking to get S&P e-mini historical data that is intraday (1-minute) going back as far as I can. Preferably something that can be loaded into ninjatrader, as I can't backtest anything there without data! Anyone have any good sources? I looked at that is99 disktrading, but that looks...

    Anything Smaller than an e-mini?

Looking for a futures contract that follows the S&P 500 (or US market at least) and doesn't give you $100,000 of exposure for 1 contract! S&P e-mini's are just too big now. The data this specific swing strategy works off of is typically not available until after the market closes. Thus the...

    Trend-following - high profit system?

100% agree. I know how the compounding over time can kill, help you, but if you trade these things as a hedge, or quickly and strategically - they can achieve their purpose.

    Trend-following - high profit system?

Was looking at ways to hedge my mean-reverting strategy that focuses on financial stocks.... Specifically I am looking at June - July of 2008, when the financials went on a virtual nosedive and volatility, while increasing, didn't really go through the roof or anything. What is a good trend...

For all you Career Traders - why not use Collective2?

Why did you stop trading on there? Obviously you had something. Could have made some nice change on the side with a long track record like that.
